8 shafts, block twill. I alternated S and Z, weaving adjacent blocks separately and allowing the yarn to float over the neighboring block. In finishing, I cut the floats about 4 inches from the end, and washed the fabric. The resulting "fringe" twisted Z in the S block and S in the Z block.
